Velocity is Powered by Butler Electric Cooperative. With the mission of digital equity for all Kansans, Velocity was Created to bridge the digital divide. Velocity is a grassroots effort to provide high speed Internet to Butler Electric Cooperative’s membership and surrounding communities.
At its core, Butler Electric Cooperative has a long history of providing members with safe and reliable electric service. Butler serves approximately 7,500 residential and commercial electric meters spread throughout seven counties in south central Kansas. Butler Electric Cooperative announced the launch of the internet company, Velocity, in March 2018.
